One way that keeps people away for your windows is grow the most thorniest Rose bushed
under them.  Must keep them trimmed, and should extend passed the end of the opening end.
 No one likes to get stuck by them.  (Great to keep teenagers from sneaking out.)

When was the last time you tried to brake into your own home ?   Try it,  pull it push it,
bounce it.  Try the wrong key in it and see what happens, just do not get it stuck.  When you
walk around your house,  what do you see ?  Places to hide, or maybe things someone might
like to steal.  Do this both in the day light and at night.
At night in the dark,  have all the lights on inside the house, walk around your house and look
in each window.  From outside when you look into your home what do you see, you might be
surprised.
